La première version du cocktail White Lady a été créée en 1919 par le propriétaire du fameux Harry’s Bar à Paris. Inspiré par le duo parfait cointreau-citron, il y ajoutera de la crème de menthe et du Brandy.
En 1920, cette version sera simplifiée par Harry Craddock, barman du mythique Hôtel Savoy à Londres. La crème de menthe et le Brandy seront remplacés par du Gin, tout simplement !
Ingrédients pour un cocktail White Lady
- 3 cl de Triple sec (Cointreau)
- 5 cl de Gin
- 2 cl de jus de citron jaune
- 1 Blanc d’œuf (facultatif)
Réalisation du cocktail White Lady
Associez tous les ingrédients dans un verre à mélange et ajoutez de la glace.
Mélangez bien et filtrez dans un verre à cocktail réfrigéré.
Décorez d’un zeste de citron.
